Bowling Season Starts!
WUC and Shared Living bowlers may have had the summer off, but that does not mean they weren't preparing for a brand new season of bowling! Sites became bowling teams, and teams created team names and bowling attire. Last year's team with the highest bowling average were the ladies from the Van Buren site. They decided on the feminine approach, bowling shirts with their new name, The Rolling Bowlers and decorated in rhinestones. Awwwww, isn't that sweet? Yep. Until you looked at the backs of their shirts where the "trash talkin' took place!
There was team Super Sonnek, The Balls of Fire, The Gamblers, The Magnoia Hot Shots, and of course! What bowling night is complete without the FBI ????? (Flintwood Bowlers, Inc.!)
I'd Like to Thank the Academy. . .
Jim certainly looks dressed for the Academy Awards, but he was one of many Shared Living residents who were honored at our first Annual Bowling Awards Banquet on June 16, 2009.
